Among the other items we found up for grabs on eBay today: a house in South Dallas. It's on Frazier Street, actually, near Fair Park. And if you want it, you have about 40 minutes to place yer bid. At the moment, you can snag it for less than $11,000; it's not likely to increase much more at this late hour, though 47 bids have already been placed. Seems like a steal: The Dallas Central Appraisal District has it on the books at just more than $18,000.
The sale appears legit: It's being offered by something called "idg real estate," which offers foreclosed properties all over eBay, and DCAD says the property's owned by U.S. Bank National Association. And now might be a good time to buy: The house is mere feet far from the Dallas Housing Authority's Frazier Courts project we wrote about a few months back. If nothing else, someone should call the Topletz family, like, now. --Robert Wilonsky
Update: Sold for $10,800. Waytago, Schutze!
