Jim Moore -- same feller who co-wrote Bush's Brain: How Karl Rove Made George W. Bush Presidential with DMN'er Wayne Slater -- has, like Mary Mapes last week, posted to The Huffington Post a "Why Texas matters" essay concerning the March 4 Democratic primary. Takeaway for further discussion: "Obama will handily carry the vote of urban black voters in Dallas and Houston and their turnout levels will be well beyond the historical norms. If he can do the same thing in East Texas, he has a chance of overwhelming Mrs. Clinton's overwhelming Hispanic support." As I've spent all day reading things like this and this, feel free to discuss amongst yourselves. --Robert Wilonsky
