Friday night, at the Arts Magnet fund-raiser, two friends used their phones to show off their oh-lucky-me early looks at Martin Creed's Work No. 1190: Half the air in a given space -- otherwise known as that room full of balloons you see above. It officially took up residency in the Lower Level Gallery of the Nasher Sculpture Center on Saturday, and we tried all weekend to make it over; the 7-year-old who lives in my house opted instead for a paddle-boat ride on the Fair Park lagoon. Beside, there's time -- it's there through June 19. Pop art. Boom.
