We are 59 days from kickoff of Super Bowl XLV in Arlington, and The Great Prostitution Invasion of '11 only feels like a long way off. But, no -- time to party plan. And yesterday, this invite arrived to a three-night-stravaganza at Fair Park starting February 3 called, simply, XLV Party. Better still, it'll feature music ... in the Cotton Bowl. (Well, in a giant tent on the Cotton Bowl field, but, still.) Finally.

The fellow behind this wingding promises an "all-star cast of performers and celebrities." By which he means the Village People (?) and t.A.T.u. (?!?), who headline the time machine known as Opening Night. Second night's a bit more now, with Austin's Ghostland Observatory and Passion Pit. Third night, a Beastie Boys cover band and Sublime With Rome. It'll be just like the Texxas Jam. But different. For one: a hell of a lot more expensive.
