What time is it? It's time for hops if you're listening to that bad-ass can pictured above: Big, bold, bitter hops, with those floral, fruity notions pushed to the wayside. Meet Community Brewing's Sundial, the end all, be all summer beer for hopheads who don't want to feel like they just drank a pillow.

Sundial is the perfect beer for your summer party. Sundial is the perfect beer for a day-long fishing trip and for drinking while you're mowing the lawn. Go on and ride that tractor — full throttle. Sundial clocks in at only 4.5 percent ABV, so you don't have to worry about an unplanned trip to the hospital. Sundial is a beer drinker's beer and a beer can evangelist that can successfully proselytize to those who prefer Budweiser. Glory be to hops! And glory be to Sundial!

Sundial is absolutely everything you'd expect from an IPA, without the woozy brain or that thick and heavy mouthfeel that can weigh you down after a can or two. You could drink 17 Sundials and still stand on one leg if you're in good drinking shape, but maybe lay off of the power tools.

It's a shame that "session" has become such a hollow term slathered on any beer that doesn't deliver its alcoholic payload with a burn. Sundial has risen to redeem the word without sacrificing on bold and bitter flavors IPA fans crave. Those same fanatics will likely think the brew is a little thin, but that's the point. With a light copper color and just enough body to assure you this beer's the real deal, Community's Sundial might be the perfect summer brew.
