The much-awaited Bolsa Mercado opened this week in Oak Cliff, just a few doors down from its farm-to-table mother ship Bolsa. This high-end grocery store and deli boasts shelves stocked with dips, sauces, honey, spices, root beer, local cheeses, breads, chocolates and countless other items. And for the boozers: 100 different kinds of hand-selected small-production wines and rare beers.

Bolsa Mercado serves from-scratch breakfast every day, including house-made kolaches, yogurt, fruit and doughnuts, plus a full coffee and juice bar. Lunch brings salads, sandwiches, cheese platters, charcuterie and desserts. There are also prepared meals from Chef Jeff Harris, including pizzas and in-house pastas, all in eco-friendly take-home packaging.

Space-wise, in addition to an outside patio area, there's a long communal table in the middle of the market and deep chairs and couches for a more lounge-ish affair. Most fascinating: Its hours are "sunup to sundown" seven days a week.

Here are some more photos. We'll see you there for lunch soon, no doubt.
