Openings:

Taco Joint (6434 E. Mockingbird): A second Taco Joint location has opened on Mockingbird Lane, and it serves booze.

Bandito's Tex-Mex Ice House (4700 W. Park) : Bandito's and Katy Trail Ice House had a baby.

Closings:

Pho Colonial (4727 Frankford): The Frankford Road location has closed its doors for good.

The Soda Gallery (408 N. Bishop) : The Oak Cliff soda gallery vanished without a trace.

Brackets (5300 E. Mockingbird) : The restaurant that Reitz thought was a hardware store has closed.

Coming soon:

Trader Joe's: The specialty retailer announced a second Dallas location.

Alamo Drafthouse: The Austin-based restaurant, bar and movie theater (yes, it's all three) is coming to Richardson.
