The Texas Gay Rodeo Association sponsored a wild weekend of gay pride and rodeo events at the Diamond T Arena in Denton including bull riding, bareback bronco riding, steer riding, calf roping, barrel racing, pole bending and a wild drag race. The rodeo ran from Friday, March 31, through Sunday, April 2.

Competitors traveled from across North America and other visiting countries, part of the International Gay Rodeo Association, to compete in traditional rodeo events and side events, ending their nights with partying at Denton’s Mable Peabody’s Beauty Parlor and Chainsaw Repair.
