Back in 2006, Nick Nowell fronted a great local metal band called Thorn vs. Side. The band put out a great EP, Arson, before Nowell imploded the band and decided to become a teacher.
Over the past three years, Nowell has kept his instrumental chops in order by playing with a variety of nationally known death metal acts. But recently, he decided to have a go at a local combo once again and Sunrise Cemetery was formed.
