  • Green River Ordinance Signs With EMI/Virgin

    Fort Worth's Green River Ordinance, not to be confused with Mark Arm and Stone Gossard's recently reunited Sub Pop band, will release its major label debut early next year on EMI/Virgin, according to a press release from EMI music. Out Of My Hands, the follow-up to the band's independent 2006 release The Beauty of Letting Go, is due February 24, 2009. The band's slick Third-Eye-Blind-meets-Coldplay alt-rock earned them Fort Worth Weekly Music Awards for Best New Band of 2003, Best Live Band
