  ...courtesy Idol Records, which announced last night the date of and the acts who'll be playing its annual SXSW showcase. In addition to Idol signed acts Here Holy Spain and The O's, both of which were announced in the second round of SXSW band announcements, the label has added roster members The Crash That Took Me and Shibboleth to its showcase lineup, plus new subsidiary label signees Little Black Dress.The show will take place Saturday night, at Mother Egan's Irish Pub on 6th Street.

  This afternoon, SXSW unveiled its complete lineup of acts booked to play this year's festival. It's a lengthy list, and, honestly, it's kinda a bitch to troll through, unless you're looking for something specific. So we did the dirty work for you, hunting down the complete list of DFWd acts selected to perform at this year's shindig. The good news? This year's total tops last year's of 39 acts. The bad news?   Well, my SXSW trip is over. I didn't manage to survive solely on day-party free food and beer the way I'd hoped to because doing so would have been at the sacrifice of other, better shows. Plus, my experience Thursday taught me not to trust a free-beer or free-food promise. My food expenses were far lower than I expected simply because I hardly ever had time to eat.
