The turkey sandwich is undoubtedly one of the most boring creations to be housed between two bread slices since the Earl himself created the portable dish. Usually dry and bland, I'll only order one when I feel as though I've hit my burger quota on any given week, and I'm looking for something I can pretend is healthy.
Bolsa Mercado's smoked turkey sandwich could change this for me, (maybe). The soft, freshly baked ciabatta roll is springy and supple, while an avocado spread keeps things from eating like a sack of sand. The turkey is smoked in house, and a pepper spread brings brightness and an oh-so-subtle heat.
This isn't your standard deli take out turkey sammie.
