Amidst all the hype of more In-N-Outs landing in Dallas, Whataburger has (slightly more) quietly opened a new store, its 121st in DFW. To celebrate slyly make you neglect the leftovers you've stashed in your sad office fridge, the homegrown chain is offering a week's worth of free stuff. Here's the schedule:

Monday, August 15 from 7 to 10 a.m.: Buy One Breakfast on a Bun, Get One Free

Tuesday, August 16 from 5 to 7 p.m.: Free Seasonal Pie

Wednesday, August 17 from 5 to 7 p.m.: Buy One Whataburger, Get One Free

Thursday, August 18 from 7 to 10 a.m.: Buy One Taquito, Get One Free

Friday, August 19 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Free Cookie

The burger-battle lines have been drawn (in arterial plaque, if you're wondering). The taste test has been proctored. The war wages on, in our city and in our hearts. Mostly our hearts.
