Chewing the Fat: Measuring Every Chug
Gotta wonder if the folks at the Centers for Disease Control will come out with a list of top party schools now. A new study released by the organization says the typical American binge drinker is a white male, aged 18-34.
No kidding. The news comes courtesy of Drugs.com. They note that the CDC defined "binge drinking" as five or more drinks per session.
One finding that sounds self-fulfilling: College grads binge less than those with "some" college. Seems drop-outs probably partied too hard. As for journalism students, it's tough to know if any were surveyed, but anecdotal evidence suggests this would artificially distort the findings.
