The new seafood spot Driftwood, at 642 West Davis in Oak Cliff, is offering 50 percent off to Oak Cliff residents tomorrow. I spoke with owner Jonn Baudoin about the promotion.

"We're part of the community here now," said Baudoin, "and we just want to show our appreciation."

As SideDish noted on Friday, 75208 residents have to make reservations between noon and 2 p.m. today by calling 214-942-2530. On Tuesday, when you arrive for dinner, be sure to bring an electric or water bill showing the 75208 zip code in order to receive the discount.

Driftwood has about 50 seats inside and 30 on the patio. So set your Google alert for noon because that's the only time to make the required reservation.
