Re: our ongoing discussion of the margarita. Luna Top Shelf is supposedly the "secret" ingredient for perfection. Imported by a Dallas company, Luna Top Shelf Triple Sec is an orange liqueur that replaces the Cointreau in a 'rita recipe. It's popular in Mexico, and several Dallas restaurants use it--Matt at No Place, Fog City, Gloria's. You can pick up a bottle at Sigel's, Marty's, Pogo's, etc. for about $18.95. The importers offered to deliver a pitcher of margaritas made with Top Shelf to my office. Unfortunately, I don't have an office. Hey, you hard-drinking guys at The Met, I hope you're reading this. Sounds like your kind of P.R.
