Chip's new location in the former International House of Pancakes on Lovers is bound to give Harvey Goff across the street a run for his money--the burgers are better, the French fries are better, and the atmosphere is free and easy, a little less like an outpost of the Citadel. But besides all that, Chip's goes where few burger places have gone before--far beyond the Neapolitan triumvirate of milkshakes. Gone, in fact, bananas. Chip's banana milkshake is an icy blend of bananas, ice cream and milk, just creamy enough to be sucked through a straw, tropically exotic, but as soothing as baby food.
