NOSH Euro Bistro in Plano has closed. The restaurant confirmed on its Facebook page on Wednesday with a message, "Thank you for all of your support!" along with a picture of owner Avner Samuel sort of smiling. He looks dapper in bright sweater. I suppose the message is, "I'm good, thanks."

The original Nosh at 4216 Oak Lawn Ave. is still open and by all appearances is doing well. The suburb project just didn't work out. Perhaps it should have been a clue when the chef at the Plano spot left a couple of weeks ago. Nancy Nichols at SideDish reported that Jon Stevens left Nosh to work on his own restaurant, Stock and Barrel, which will open later this year.
