Since Il Cane Rosso opened in Deep Ellum in 2011, it has been one of Dallas' favorite pizza spots. Guy Fieri even made a stop there for an episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, which made the wait lines for authentic Neapolitan pizza even longer.

As reported last week, owner Jay Jerrier is also opening the antithesis to his unique pizza from Naples, Zoli's, which will serve New York style pizza, among many other things. Jerrier has confirmed that he will take over the old BEE: Best Enchiladas Ever location at Zang and Davis in Oak Cliff and hopes to open in mid-May.

Jerrier is also working on a second Il Cane Rosso near White Rock Lake, which should be open in April.
