Surprise! Dallas is getting the 2010 All Star Game. Well, sort of. It's in Arlington.

The best and brightest in Dallas sports and politics kicked off the Mavericks season Thursday night, with the "surprise" announcement that the team will host the 2010 N.B.A. All-Star Game. The ceremony was held in front of the American Airlines Center, but the game will be played in the Cowboys' new stadium in Arlington.
