It's true the Stevie Ray Vaughn statue (see pic 2!) was unveiled at the Kessler, but the real star of Bandits, Blues & BBQ was the meat. The barbecue contest in Oak Cliff Sunday may have been among the first in the nation to demand sustainable meat Sunday, September 12th. Urban Acres provided teams with "ethically" treated meat for the barbecue contest during Go Oak Cliff's street party. Read more coverage of the BBQ Contest on City of Ate.
