James Earl Jones, who's slated to receive the 2008 Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award, recalled his life in the theater as park of the performing arts center's ceremony.

James Earl Jones spoke at the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts' one-year countdown announcement at the Belo Mansion, Tuesday, October 7. Blocks away, construction continued on the Winspear Opera House, the Wyly Theatre, and the rest of the arts complex.
