Any days a good day for charity, but this one was particularly nice.

The North Texas Food Bank's 10th annual Empty Bowls event raised over $143,000 Friday, February 20, with a lunch catered by Dallas restaurants and a sale of bowls made by local artists. More than 1,000 people turned up for the event at Meyerson Symphony Center.
