Students at The University of North Texas, Denton are exhibiting installation pieces for “eARTh Day: A Celebration of Environmental Music, Writing, Art and Film.” Work addresses themes such the plight of earthquake-ravaged Haitians in limbo, recycling and sustainability.
The exhibition will be on display until until May 8 (Saturday) in the atrium of UNT's Environmental Education, Science and Technology (EESAT) Building, northwest corner of Avenue C and West Mulberry Street.

Some of Texas's very own Dubstep DJs were present at the Dub Assembly's lineup on Saturday. A rain-dazed crowd loosened up at the Green Elephant for Jimmy B, Royal Highnuss, Mundo and Mad Classy Crew. The Lek brothers brought their picture-shooting device.

Texas Motor Speedway (as we tried to avoid "starting off with a bang" cliches) launched its season with a celebration in Sundance Square yesterday in Fort Worth. With the party came the announcement: April 15th-18th is officially Race Weekend in Fort Worth.
