The Festival of Balloons, which extends from a World Convention, showcases the meticulous artwork (constructed from thousands of Qualatex-brand variety). The balloon constructions were on vivid display at the Sheraton Hotel. These were more fascinating balloons. Photos by Stephen Masker
The Sylvan | Thirty development site held this year's Truckstock, where, of course, 18 food trucks -- including Butcher's Son, Gandolfo's NY Deli, Nammi, Ruthie's Rolling Cafe, and Rock and Roll Taco (and much more) -- encircled Dallas-ites with delicious foods. Photos by Jay Barker
