MLS Texas Derby: Dynamo vs FC Dallas

The Houston Dynamo hosted their in-state rivals FC Dallas at BBVA Compass Stadium in the 2012 edition of the Texas Derby on Saturday, June 16, 2012. The home team scored early in the first half when Will Bruin took advantage of the goalkeeper's failed attempt to clear the ball in the third minute. FC Dallas tied the score in the 59th minute with a goal from close range by Jackson Goncalves. Dallas defender Jair Benitez was ejected from the game after landing an elbow on Houston midfielder Colin Clark's head, causing a minute-long shoving and yelling match between the two clubs. Dynamo midfielder Adam Moffat scored his first goal of the season in the 76th minute, clinching the 2-1 win for the home team. PHOTOS BY MARCO TORRES
