North Texas Battle of the Bands was held at UNT's Murchison Performing Arts Center in Denton.

Bands featuring members age 13-20 battled it out February 29, 2008, at the University of North Texas in Denton for a chance to compete will compete in the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus National Battle of the Bands.
