On Sunday, June 2, Chefs for Farmers hosted its Get Some #@&% Credit Sous Chef Competition benefiting Cafe Momentum. The lineup included Derek Blackburn of Central 214, Matt Balke of Bolsa, Stedman Belyan of Trinity Groves, Misti Norris of FT33, Kevin Dean of Lucia, Danyele McPherson of The Grape, Gmo Tristian of Boulevardier and Jared Harms of the Mansion on Turtle Creek. All eight chefs were paired with a farm, and competed for who could create the tastiest bite-sized meal. Gmo Tristian of Boulvardier came out on top for his lamb loin, and received a $1,500 prize.
