Santiago Calatrava and thousands of people from around Dallas (the bridge was at capacity) were on hand to celebrate the "opening" of the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. At 2 p.m., massive puppets of notable West Dallasites were on procession for the Parade of Giants (read more here). The night ended with fireworks.
