The Best Costumes from the Sci-Fi Expo

The nerd population of North Texas descended upon the Irving Convention Center (500 W. Las Colinas Blvd.) for two days of TV, movie and comic geeker this February weekend. There was costumes and wares up for grabs in addition to the usual photo/autograph sessions with actors from sci-fi favorites like Back to the Future, Deep Space Nine, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica and The Lord of the Rings.

Danny Hurley was on hand to capture the scene.

@chunkyjones  I felt the same way when I saw her! Unfortunately, in the culture we live in today, not only is our opinion (although widely shared) unpopular, but people have no problem with being rude if you dare to express it (see the other comments). Fight the power chunkyjones!
