Miss Texas Polestar, a multi-category award honoring the spectacular aerial arts and pole fitness stunts from performers around Dallas, brought their skills to the Lakewood Theater on Saturday, October 6. The categories ranged from Amateur (which includes three spins, one leg inversion on the pole) to the Ultimate Division (which includes three spins, a handstand, a split, and so seconds on spinning pole).

Saturday at the Lakewood, photographer Hal Samples was on hand to capture the Showcase of the Stars and the Ultimate Category Competition.
