A Comedy Contender

Nick Guerra may be short but he’s long on comedy material. The “Little Long Haired Comic” has spent over a decade touring clubs and theaters with the sharp and varied material he’s accumulated that covers just about anything a comic could complain about whether it’s the disappointment of watching a “found footage” horror movie or the only “man move” guys have in bed. His material took him to the semifinals of the eighth season of Last Comic Standing as well as Comedy Central’s Gabriel Iglesias Stand-Up Revolution and Nuvo TV’s Stand Up & Deliver. He’ll also perform at Hyena’s Comedy Nightclub in Fort Worth (425 Commerce St.) at 10:30 p.m. Friday and 8 and 10:30 p.m. Saturday. Tickets available on prekindle.com.
Fri., Nov. 28, 10:30 p.m.; Sat., Nov. 29, 8 p.m., 2014
