Alert The Paparazzi

We think it's fair to say that Lady GaGa is the new Madonna. She's become quite the cultural phenomenon, to say the least. Most people who are familiar with her--and at this point, with as many times as Top 40 radio plays "Poker Face" and "Alejandro," it'd be impossible not to be--either passionately adore her or passionately abhor her. We've heard actual heated arguments about whether or not she really is talented and unique or nothing more than a glorified freak show. From the weird-as-shit get-ups to her interesting (to say the least) song catalog, she's taken the world by storm. So much so that she's already had extreme homage paid to her on an episode of Glee--Britney hasn't even gotten that treatment yet (and I bet she is pissed). Because of her extreme popularity, people in Big D will be getting not only one but two chances to see her live, Thursday and Friday, at American Airlines Center. The show starts at 8 p.m. on both nights and promises to be, if nothing else, an evening full of extremely interesting entertainment. Tickets are $49.50 to $175. Visit for tickets and more information.
Thu., July 22, 8 p.m.; Fri., July 23, 8 p.m., 2010
