Before he became the entrepreneurial Tom Haverford on Parks and Rec, he starred in the video sketch series Human Giant. And before both of those things, the major venue stand-up comedy tours, television specials and wildly enthusiastic reviews by music publications Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, Aziz Ansari was a gangly kid in New York with a super addictive website. He'd record heartfelt bits about falling in love with MIA. Tour New York City playing the world's shittiest mix tape on a boombox and generally make fun of indie hipster pretension.

There's always been something different about this one, and Dallas gets to see him on his own and all grown up when Aziz Ansari brings his third national tour of all new material to the Verizon Theater on May 31. Tickets went on sale Wednesday, but there are still seats available in nearly every section of Verizon, according to the site's online reservation system. Get 'em now and get 'em quick.
