Isn't laughter supposed to be the best medicine? (Well, penicillin, then laughter, then a lot of morphine
) For a doggy in dire straits, your laughter could mean the difference between life and death. Comedian Todd Glass is on hand to deliver the laughs; you might remember him as the guy that almost won TV's saddest game show, Last Comic Standing. Saving the dogs is the goal of DFW Lab Rescue, an organization which rescues, rehabilitates and adopts out almost 200 labs a year. All you have to do is pony up the dough and prepare to bust a gut. Or just get really drunk and fake it. Laughing for Labs takes place at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road. Tickets are $20 and all proceeds benefit DFW Lab Rescue.
