Boys Will Be Boys

What's up Singapore's ass? Apparently, Cut Sleeve Boys, the feature film by Ray Yeung, was banned thanks to the Singapore Board of Film Censors' determination that it "[promotes] the alternative lifestyle." C'mon Singapore! Queer as Folk? The L Word? Will & Grace? Get on the gay train already. Homosexually driven entertainment isn't going away...and half the time it's far more interesting than the straight stuff. Check out what has Singapore in a tizzy as Q Cinema presents Cut Sleeve Boys 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Four Day Weekend Theater, 312 Houston St. in Fort Worth. Tickets are $8. Call 817-462-3368 or visit qcinema.org.
Wed., Oct. 25, 8 p.m.
