What do Glee and Oxygen (the TV channel, not the scientific element) have in common? Well, nothing, really, except that they have taken up the call of finding a recurring guest star for the next season of Glee. Believe it or not, the Oxygen network, a channel responsible for high-caliber television series such as Snapped, Running Russell Simmons and Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, has finally masterminded a television show worth watching. They are currently filming a show called The Glee Project, which will chronicle, American Idol-style, a nationwide talent search for the next Glee recurring star, and have scheduled an audition stop here in DFW on Saturday and Sunday. The auditions will take place at the Norris Conference Center of Fort Worth from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days. Interested Gleeks must be at least 18 years of age and have the ability to understand that it is highly unlikely they will steal any of the ever-coveted solos from Rachel or Finn, and that they will at some point be terrorized by Sue Sylvester (or take a Slushee to the face).
