Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.
More than a week after announcing that Rory Scovel would headline their annual Dallas Comedy Festival, the Dallas Comedy House announced that another big name in standup will take to their black painted stage.
The Deep Ellum comedy club confirmed that Chelsea Peretti will perform two shows on their stage as part of her American Treasure Tour at 7 and 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 29. Advance tickets are currently on sale for $20 each.
Even if you aren't familiar with her standup work, her face should be familiar as one of the regular co-stars of Fox's Brooklyn Nine-Nine where she plays precinct administrator Gina Linetti. She's also one of the regular voices on the Adult Swim show China, IL. and has written for just about every modern TV comedy that matters such as Parks & Recreation, Portlandia, Saturday Night Live and Kroll Show.
Keep the Dallas Observer Free... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Dallas with no paywalls.
