Take a few super-talented burlesque performers, add some roller derby attitude and flair, and what do you get? Why, none other than the Lollie Bombs, of course. Texas’ longest-running burlesque troupe, the Lollies have been shaking their money makers and giving the beloved burlesque art form a Texas-sized rock ’n’ roll makeover for seven years. Thankfully, there’s no end in sight. This month the Lollie Bombs are telling the cheesiest of all holidays to suck it with Love Hurts, a special Valentine’s Day tribute. Join current Lollies Jai Le Bait, Miss Malicious, Pollie Nigma, Trixi Toxic and Scarlette Switches as they take over the Pocket Sandwich Theatre (5400 E. Mockingbird Lane No. 119) at 11:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The rated R shows are open to anyone older than 17. Tickets are $20 to $30 with VIP seating available.
