Joe Rogan is a complicated man. A longtime stand-up comedian, he is probably best known as the host of that cow-eye-eating, jumping-off-a-building, rats-crawling-on-your-face masterpiece of reality TV, Fear Factor, though he was also part of the hilarious ensemble cast on News Radio. These days, Joe seems to divide his time between stand-up and rivaling Woody Harrelson for the title of "King of Celebrity Marijuana Endorsers." Rogan's flirtation with controversy doesn't stop there. He seems to have a mini-obsession with accusing other comedians of plagiarizing his act and those of his buddies. This "crusade" has gotten him banned from a couple of major comedy clubs, most notably The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, and hasn't necessarily won him a lot of friends. One has to admire the way Rogan has stuck to his guns regarding this subject, though it may just be paranoia from smoking too much weed. Come find out for yourself when Joe Rogan brings the laughs to the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road, Suite 250, this Friday through Sunday. Tickets are $25. Call 972-404-8501 or visit improv.com.
