Dancin', Sculptin', Dancin'!

Looking at me, you probably wouldn’t know that I throw it down on the dance floor. My fairly conservative attire, coupled with a less-than-petite build, hides the fact that I was made for Dance Club 21 and Soul Train. Usher who? That's right. And now would be the time to thank Sister Sledge for my theme song, "He's the Greatest Dancer." Imagine my dismay at not being invited to the 2nd Annual Dance Festival at the Nasher, which will feature dance companies from all over the metroplex, running the gamut from ballet to contemporary. Maybe next year. The festival will be held Saturday at the Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora St., starting at 1:30 p.m. Call 214-242-5100 or visit nashersculpturecenter.org.
Sat., Sept. 2, 1:30 p.m.
