Those of us who already snatched up free tickets to the simulcast of The Magic Flute at Cowboys Stadium suspected the show would also be held at the Winspear Opera House, but now the dates have been confirmed.
One of Mozart's most popular operas, The Magic Flute, is a favorite but logistically it was seen as unfavorable to try until now; moving to the Winspear has created the space required to allow the show to soar. A quest, an imprisoned princess and a woodwind that can summon wilderness animals all create a foundation for this enchantingly mystical plot. (Don't worry, there's romance, too. After all, it's opera.) The Magic Flute will wrap-up the Dallas Opera season with asix-show run beginning on Friday, April 20 and closing on Sunday, May 6. Individual tickets start at $25.
