Education Oldies

What's your function? If you're a conjunction, it's hooking up words, phrases and clauses. We know this because we were raised on Schoolhouse Rock, which cleverly taught grammar, science and math through catchy cartoon jingles. However, the only way we can problem-solve is by singing little songs in our head. Or aloud. Don't judge! The stage version, Schoolhouse Rock Live! shows at 7:30 p.m. Fridays, 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays through March 15 at Theatre Arlington, 305 W. Main St. Arlington. Tickets are $10. Call 817-275-7661 or visit theatrearlington.org.
Fridays, Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: Feb. 27. Continues through March 15, 2009
KEEP THE DALLAS OBSERVER FREE... Since we started the Dallas Observer, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Dallas, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
