Gala of the Royal Horses

Horses haven't had the best PR when it comes to maintaining status as an effective mode of transportation. We have so many infinitely better ways of getting from Point A to Point B: cars, bicycles, planes, trains, pogo sticks. Hell, we even have machines that can replace walking. This means someday, the act of using human feet to move will have its own pageant. Until that day, you can still enjoy the majesty of horses and show horseback riding with The Gala of the Horses, a live show horse event featuring the works of renowned riding master Rene Gasser scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the American Airlines Center (2500 Victory Ave.).
