Halloween is about more than trick-or-treaters and revealing costumes. It’s the one time of year when society encourages the type of frightening behavior normally reserved for gatherings of juggalos and cough syrup connoisseurs. Nothing says Halloween quite like being accosted by strangers dressed up as killer clowns, and the Strangling Brothers Haunted Circus is looking to give everyone the creeps. This year the ghoulish carnival will feature an hour-long walk through a maze of 26 tractor trailers, each more blood curdling than the last. Part-time zombies and murderous automatons will await thrill-seekers of all ages every Friday and Saturday through November 1, and Wednesdays and Thursdays in October. Tickets are $30 and it is suggested that you prepare yourself for an “overall physically demanding environment.” The maze is located at the Irving Mall (3880 Irving Mall), just south of Dillards, for more info visit www.stranglingbrotherstexas.com.
Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: Sept. 19. Continues through Nov. 1, 2014
