Hostile Holiday

The world is a hostile place. We know it to be true of human beings, but it's also true of the entire animal kingdom. And sometimes it takes a tragedy or devastating natural event for us to work together. Soul Rep Theatre Company's new show, Hostile Holiday, is about the rebuilding that happened after Hurricane Katrina. Except it's told through the swamp critters, who find they must band together to rebuild the Watermain Theater. It's a holiday story that's safe for the little toads in your family. See it at 7:30 p.m. Thursday or through December 21 at the South Dallas Cultural Center (3400 S. Fitzhugh Ave.). Tickets are $10-15. More information at soulreptheatre.com.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 2:30 p.m. Starts: Dec. 11. Continues through Dec. 21, 2014
