Is It the Best and Brightest?

The Herdman children are probably the worst children ever. Not only does the Herdman clan steal, lie and cuss, but those little monsters even smoke cigars--the girls too! Undoubtedly, casting them in the best Christmas pageant ever stands to be more horrifying than heartwarming. But wouldn't you know, sometimes compassion and generosity come in the most unexpected places, and this time it comes from six soot-faced, dirty-mouthed somewhat-angels. The children take what could have been their Sunday school's worst pageant ever and make it the best. The Plano Children's Theatre presents Barbara Robinson's yuletide classic The Best Christmas Pageant Ever! Thursday through December 19 at the theater on Custer Road. Advance tickets are $7 or $9 at the door. For more information, visit planochildrenstheatre.org.
Mondays-Fridays. Starts: Dec. 9. Continues through Dec. 19, 2010
