J-Ho Gives Back In Big D

Josh Howard is back in town, but he's not, like, playing us or anything, so welcome back, Josh Howard. My, my, my, your head looks funny without a blue sweatband and yes, we will stand on a stack of 18 chairs and say that to your face. Speaking of, did you know Josh Howard is 6-foot-7 and plays "small forward?" Let's start a letter-writing campaign to change his position to "freaking tall-ass forward." Who's with me? If you're not, go suck an egg. If you are, here's some super fantastic information just for you. (Egg suckers quit reading now.) Josh Howard's Charity Weekend-that-really-starts-on-a-Monday-so-let's-call-it-a-Charity-Week kicks off Monday with a four-day, all-day basketball camp for ballin' kiddos. It's through June 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Sportsplex at Valley View. Friday night, head to the Palladium Ballroom for a comedy show featuring Lil Duval. He's the lil-est! Be sure to catch some mad Z's because Saturday there's a Charity Basketball Game featuring Terrell Owens, Tracy McGrady, Devin Harris and DJ Bay Bay (bummer alert--he's not an actual baby). The tip-off is at 5 p.m. at P.C. Cobb Complex with an autograph session before from 3 to 4 p.m. Excitement city. Visit joshhowardweekend.com.
Fri., June 24, 5 p.m., 2011
