Laissez les Boob Temps Rouler

This Mardi Gras, why not stock up on beads and let the good times roll with a new burlesque twist? Just in time to celebrate one more guilty pleasure before Lent, Viva Dallas Burlesque will bring the Big Easy to Dallas March 4 at the Lakewood Theatre. 1825 Abrams Road. The show will feature Denton's very own Honey Cocoa Bordeauxx along with Austin's Ruby Joule (The Jigglewatts) and local favorites such as Aviva Voila, Vivienne Vermuth, Jolie Ampere and many more. Sticking with the Mardi Gras theme, audiences can expect new twists to time-honored traditions like the King Cake, New Orleans' favorite rum-filled hurricane cocktail and a Dixieland jazz procession from the likes of Club Wood before and after the show. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show begins at 9 p.m. Tickets are $20. For more information, visit vivadallasburlesque.com.
