Join pianist Jeffrey Siegel at the Eisemann Center in Richardson on Monday for an unconventional piano recital. Siegel’s Keyboard Conversations features the pianist both performing on the piano and providing commentary on the music he presents. In this recital, the works of French composer Claude Debussy — both familiar and unfamiliar — will be highlighted. Siegel will play some of Debussy’s most famous impressionistic pieces, including Clair de lune, as well as feature the composer’s other compositional styles in works like Fireworks and Isle of Joy. This educational and entertaining night of music is only enhanced by the performer’s interspersed dialogue. Whether you’re a Debussy fan or are entirely new to his music, this concert will enhance and enrich your understanding of Debussy’s broad stylistic span. Tickets range from $25 to $30. The Eisemann Center is located at 2351 Performance Drive, Richardson. Visit eisemanncenter.com and keyboardconversations.com.
